YouTube launches TrueView for Action in all markets
With this new ad format, TrueView Action Ads, Google has extended the intent audience reach on YouTube. The new ad format features more a prominent call to action and can reach people based on recent search they made on Google.
In the past advertisers had used data from signed-in Google users for ad targeting on YouTube especially on mobile. The extension of custom intent audiences to YouTube means advertisers now can reach people on YouTube who have recently searched your product related searches on Google.com.
Advertisers can also customize the calls to action button that will appear along with their video ads on YouTube, this is an additional feature which was launched along with the custom intent to generate direct responses from the viewers.
