This feature rolled out in specific markets in 2017 where it enabled businesses to tag products within their Instagram posts whether they are pictures, videos or stories. Also, when a user taps on the product, they get to see prices, a better description, more pictures and similar products from the store.

The post that has the Shopping Tag Feature will have a shopping bag icon appearing on the image/ video. This will help the users know if they can shop the products in the post or not.
