Video has always been and will always be the best method to convey a message as more people pay attention to videos than other forms of media. We see a considerable increase in video content on social media, and that is because videos perform better than other media and more and more people are getting their information from videos. To put it into perspective, here are some quick stats on video usage in social media. Over 1 billion hours of videos are watched on YouTube daily. On Facebook, around 100 million hours of videos are watched on a daily basis. On Instagram, the number of videos posted is increasing at 80% year on year.
