1. Create a daily, weekly, or monthly series

Make your social feed more special by linking random posts together under one theme. Start a series where you have more interaction opportunities with your followers and engage with them regularly. Hearing your followers out shows that you care about them, and also helps you understand your audience’s concerns and needs. If you’re trying to interact with your followers and show up more to your social feeds, a regular series is a great starting point to achieve that.

2. Host an AMA

AMA’s are Q&A sessions where you get to share your knowledge, experiences, insights as well as your story. Hosting such sessions will help you get to show off your side, the face behind the curtain of your business. It can also raise awareness for your brand without being too pushy and salesy, in addition to helping you learn more about your audiences’ interests.

Let your audience do the talking; not all the content on your social feed has to be your own. Sharing content from other brands relevant to your business and photos or articles from your followers is a great way to stay a part of your industry’s conversation. For every post you compose or video you shoot, consider additional ideas for promoting it on social media beyond its original format. For example, you can repurpose your video content into social-specific “sneak peeks.” Or, use your customers’ pictures/videos posted and put them together to create a story that connects your business with your followers. When you repurpose your content, you breathe new life into old and ignored posts, while also keeping your followers from getting bored of the same message shared over and over.

6. Go live!

Keep your live sessions as compelling and straightforward as possible. People tend to spend more time watching Facebook Live videos than pre-recorded ones. Whether you’re sharing an experience, a tutorial or conducting a Q&A session, responding to people in real-time forms a more personal connection with your followers.
